The Palm Beach Workforce Development Consortium

The Palm Beach Workforce Development Consortium (Consortium) was created on July 10, 2007 for the purpose of establishing an Independent Special District (Section 106 of Title 1 of WIOA; Section 163.01 Florida Statutes) and to implement Federal and State workforce development programs and related activities in Palm Beach County, Florida under the provisions of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, the Temporary Assistance to Needy Families Act, the Wagner-Peyser Act and the Florida Workforce lnnovation Act of 2000. The geographical area to be served by the Consortium is Palm Beach County, Florida.
