CareerSource Palm Beach County Hosts Paychecks for Patriots Annual Job Fair with 65+ Employers in Partnership with Hope Florida on November 6th

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (Oct. 4, 2024) — CareerSource Palm Beach County, in partnership with Hope Florida, will host the annual Paychecks for Patriots job fair on Nov. 6, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will be held at the Airport Hilton in West Palm Beach. It offers U.S. military veterans, their families, and the general public an opportunity to connect with more than 60 employers.

While Paychecks for Patriots focuses on helping veterans and their families connect with employers who recognize their skills, the event is open to all job seekers. Veterans and military spouses will receive priority access, but anyone looking for career opportunities is encouraged to attend.

  • Location: Airport Hilton, 150 Australian Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33406
  • Priority access: Veterans and military spouses
  • Open to all: The job fair is open to all job seekers

Employers from industries including healthcare, logistics, and government will be represented, with notable participants such as Coca-Cola, FedEx, Florida Power & Light (NextEra Energy), Hilton Singer Island, Palm Beach County government, the School District of Palm Beach County, and the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center.

In addition, Hope Florida Navigators from the Florida Department of Children and Families will be on-site to explain their mission of connecting Floridians to essential services, benefits, and community resources. The event will also provide access to the Florida Department of Veterans Affairs’s Hope Florida – A Pathway for Patriots initiative, helping veterans access the benefits they deserve.

This job fair provides a valuable opportunity to network with employers, explore new career paths, and potentially secure employment, while veterans can gain resources and support from Hope Florida Navigators.
