A CareerSource PBC representative will be stationed in the library near the public computers from 9 am to 5 pm weekly on Tuesdays to assist citizens with employment, re-employment, resume' assistance, filing for unemployment and career path assistance. The representative is fluent in English, Creole and French.
The Boynton Beach City Library has always supported citizens and entrepreneurs alike in their personal and professional journeys, offering research assistance, programming, technological guidance, and a robust collection of library materials. When the Covid-19 pandemic left many uncertain on their career path, the Boynton Beach City Library stepped up to help through virtual programs on resume and career assistance and continued access to the library collection and database resources.
“We’re very pleased to partner with the Boynton Beach City Library at this time when residents need these services the most. The library expands in-person services for job seekers in the south county area and augments our career centers in West Palm Beach and Belle Glade,” states Michael Corbit, CareerSource PBC Vice President of Business Development.
Additionally, CareerSource PBC will provide library users with a direct link into the State's unemployment system, enabling a quicker connection than going to the website on their own. Appointments are not needed to speak with the CareerSource PBC representative.
“Our continuing partnership with CareerSource PBC will give citizens and job seekers an upper hand with one-on-one consultations with resume assistance and job searching by a specially trained expert,” says Craig Clark, Library Director.

CareerSource PBC also offers similar in-person services for job seekers on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Delray Beach Public Library, 100 West Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach.
